Not letting me install the prgram at all keeps popping up with error

The error is a message saying "An application other than Clip Studio Paint is open. Close the application and try again." It also says on the installer screen that "This version cannot be activated with the current license". This all happened after i reset my PC and before i had a one time purchase of clip studio version 1 and it gave me a free upgrade. Any help would be appreciated as i really want to use this application again and i would be very dissapointed if my only option is to purchase again as there was never a limit to switchign devices.

13 days agoCLIP STUDIO PAINT and CLIP STUDIO are different programs.
Let's close "CLIP STUDIO" that is running separately.
