Why are my organized asset library material folders gone?

To clarify, this DOES NOT apply to the materials inside those folders, I can still access the downloaded assets, but they are now entirely unsorted. It’s devastating because I’ve spent years sorting and placing each asset in its own subgrouping within the launcher, and with the amount I own, re-sorting them is going to be a monumental task. Please tell me there’s a way to fix this, I can’t work with everything scattered. This happened right in the middle of making art, too, which is the most baffling and frustrating part.

For reference, my assets library now is set to a complete default state, all the custom sorted folders are completely missing.

I’m desperate for any help, nothing on google gives me any answers.

    I'm not sure if it will work, but please try it if you like:

    After closing CLIP STUDIO PAINT, why not try [Gear icon in the upper right corner → Maintenance → Rebuild material database / Rebuild material folder] in CLIP STUDIO? Then restart your PC.

    Also, update Windows and your security software and try excluding CLIP STUDIO and CLIP STUDIO PAINT from security software monitoring.
    After using CLIP STUDIO or CSP, please wait until they are completely closed before putting your PC to sleep or shutting down.
    If your PC goes to sleep or shuts down before the app is closed, [changes in settings] such as organizing and adding may not be saved.

    If you copied and backed up the CELSYS folder (settings folder) after the last or previous time you organized, I think the restoration would have been quicker, even if not complete.

    If [Rebuild material database / Rebuild material folder] does not work, please contact official support directly.
