I am a Windows 10 user of Crysta Paint Grade EX, V 3.1.4 (V1.0 Unlimited Edition <One-time payment> + Update Plan).

Is there a problem with the way you shut down your computer?
It seems that if you don't completely close the program before shutting down the computer, the changed preferences won't be saved.
(For example, in the case of a laptop, this can happen if you close the screen/lid before closing the program...)
