I have v. 1.13.2 but I would like perpetual license version 3.0. BUT ............

  • VIEW 163
  • Total 3

So this I understand here................
Ver. 3.0 perpetual version (one-time purchase)
•Pay once and have it forever
•Use all Ver. 3.0 features forever
•Get the Update Pass to use all future updates
•Windows/macOS

What gets me foggy is the upgrade from 1.13.2 to 3.0. It's a bit confusing at the end 'cause you're mentioning that you have to be subscribed? So do I just pay the $50 above or am I supposed to have a subscription before I can get the perpetual license for 3.0?

Now below is what you guys have put her. Again it says perpetual license but the link itself has a big button that says subscribe. Surely you can see the confusion on this.

Update Pass
•Ver. 1, Ver. 2.0, and Ver. 3.0 Clip Studio Paint perpetual one-time purchase users can access new feature updates by signing up for the Update Pass
(((((( now below this you'll definitely see where there's even more confusion mentioning that is valid for one year. So how is it a one time purchase if it only lasts for a year????))))))))))))))))))
•An Update Pass can be purchased at any time and is valid for one (1) year from the time of purchase
•First-time users get one month free
•Windows/macOS

    The Update Pass is essentially a low-cost subscription (which gets you the latest version) that is cheaper than a regular subscription because you already invested in a Perpetual License. It is an Annual Subscription and is An Option to be able to get the very latest version.

    All the things on the Plan Options page are separate ways of getting CSP. You can:

    1). Regular monthly/annual subscription plan (latest version (3.2.0) and future versions);

    2). Perpetual License (latest v#.0.x version (1.13.2, 2.0.6, 3.0.4));

    3). Perpetual License + Update Pass (latest version (3.2.0 and future versions) regardless of your perpetual license because versions-wise, it works like a subscription plan, but if you stop the Update Pass, you still have a license to revert to (whatever your last Perpetual License was).

    You Do Not have to subscribe to be able to buy a Perpetual License/One Time Purchse License.
