10 days agoIt looks like your touchscreen laptop is interpreting zoom gestures as rotation gestures. Here’s how you can adjust the settings in Clip Studio Paint to prevent automatic rotation while zooming:
Fixing the Zoom Rotation Issue
1. Change Touch Gesture Settings
• Go to File > Preferences > Touch Gestures (on Windows) or Clip Studio Paint menu > Preferences > Touch Gestures (on macOS).
• Look for the Rotating the canvas setting.
• Disable or adjust it so that it does not trigger rotation when zooming.
2. Check Gesture Configuration
• Navigate to Preferences > Gesture Configuration.
• Switch from Clip Studio Gestures to Windows Gestures (if available). Windows gestures often have different behavior that might not trigger rotation when zooming.
3. Modify Canvas Operation Settings
• Open File > Preferences > Canvas Operation.
• Locate Zoom by turning or Rotate by turning.
• Make sure that the rotation is not linked to your zooming gestures .
4. Use the Navigator Palette for Zooming
• Instead of pinching to zoom, try using the Navigator palette:
• Open Window > Navigator.
• Use the zoom slider to zoom in and out without affecting rotation .
5. Adjusting Multi-Touch Behavior in Windows Settings
• If your issue persists, check your laptop’s Windows touchpad or touchscreen settings:
• Open Windows Settings > Devices > Touchpad or Touchscreen settings.
• Try disabling two-finger rotation gestures to see if it resolves the issue.- English
