Hi, I purchased a new pc and had to reformat so i lost all my previous settings.

Previously, I am able to just Hover my curser to the reference image in the subview and do bunch of shorcut keys like zoom and rotate the way I do in my canvas, now it doesn't seem to work.

Is there a way to do this again, it's frustrating.

Perhaps you're confusing [Subview] with [Navigator]?

Menu at the top of the screen [Window] → [Subview] and [Navigator]

Try displaying both and checking their functions.

If that doesn't apply, please take a screenshot and write a more detailed explanation.

    It's the subview.
I'm trying to make the photo in the subview rotate and or zoom via the shortcut keys i have assigned, which are the default keys provided by csp..
Previously, i just had to hover my cursor on the subview and press the shortcut keys (The same keys for rotate and zoom assigned for canvas by default) for the photo in the subview to rotate or zoom.
But now regardless if I hover my cursor or clicked on the subview window, It doesn't react to the shortcut keys I press. It seems like there are keys specifically assigned to it which I can't seem to find.

It sounds like your shortcuts for zooming and rotating the reference image in the Sub View palette are not working as they did before. You likely need to re-enable hover-based controls or adjust your shortcut settings.

Steps to Restore Hover-Based Shortcuts in the Sub View Palette
    1. Check Sub View Preferences:
    • Go to Sub View Palette (Window > Sub View).
    • Click the menu icon in the top right of the Sub View panel.
    • Ensure Show Rotate/Flip is enabled in the command bar.
    2. Enable Hand Tool for Navigation in Sub View:
    • By default, hovering over the Sub View palette allows you to navigate, but if it’s not working:
    • In the Sub View Palette, check if the “Switch to Eyedropper Automatically” option is enabled.
    • If it is, turn it OFF. This setting replaces the hover navigation with the eyedropper tool instead.
    3. Set Modifier Keys for Zoom & Rotate in Sub View:
    • Go to File > Shortcut Settings (Windows) or Clip Studio Paint Menu > Shortcut Settings (Mac).
    • Select Modifier Key Settings.
    • Look for Space + Drag (Hand tool), Shift + Space + Drag (Rotate), and Ctrl + Space + Click (Zoom).
    • If these are missing, reassign them.
    4. Test the Shortcuts in Sub View:
    • Hover over the Sub View image.
    • Use Space + Drag to move.
    • Use Shift + Space + Drag to rotate.
    • Use Ctrl + Space + Click to zoom in and Alt + Space + Click to zoom out .

If these steps don’t work, resetting Modifier Key Settings to default under File > Modifier Key Settings might restore the functionality.

↑If your previous PC is still usable,
you can transfer the settings by replacing the CELSYS folder with the new PC.
Please be careful as this is a replacement.
