Had to reboot my laptop, how can I 'confirm' that it is the same device I used my license on?

I have a perpetual license for version 1 of CSP Pro (as well as an annual plan for my tablet), however my laptop recently ran into some drive and Windows issues, so I had to reboot it and reinstall all my software. Upon launching Paint and activating my license, I'm given two options: activating my ver. 1 perpetual license, or deactivate my annual plan and launch on this device. From my understanding, it's definitely not the second option, and the first option means to use my perpetual license on a second device since I believe I'm allowed to use it on two. How do I prove that it is still the same first device so I could still have the option to use it on a second device if I need to later?

1 month agoIt is the license server that determines whether it is the same device or not, not you.
When you perform a clean install of the OS, all related files are deleted,
so even if it seems to you to be the same PC, the license server considers it to be installed on a second PC.
