Bulk Installing Brush Packs

How do I bulk install brush packs? The Readme only says how to install them one at a time. (With several hundred brushes to do, obviously it's insane to be installing them one at a time.)

I don't know what the brush pack is and what OS you're using CLIP STUDIO PAINT on, but for example, if it's a sut file, can you just drop it all together on the subtool palette?

    Thank you for your reply.

There are hundreds of .sut files.
    OS is Windows 11.

Google's Gemini advised that I should drop the .sut files into the Tool folder in Appdata\..., however, Graphixly is using an Sqlite database instead of individual files now, so this will no longer work.

I can drop individual .sut files on a subtool, but there must be a way to bulk import a whole pack, and into it's own tool.

    >Google's Gemini advised that I should drop the .sut files into the Tool folder in Appdata\...,

I think that the AI method is a rather unofficial way to read sut, so I don't recommend that method (if it breaks, you're responsible).

Please try the officially recommended method of dropping into a subtool.

I don't think there is a way to automatically sort by category.

It is up to the individual to import hundreds of subtools at once, but if you don't separate the material palette by category to a certain extent (brush tip and texture image data), it will be difficult to delete unnecessary subtools later when you think about it.

When the C drive or Clip Studio cloud is compressed (the cause of compression when backing up restoration data), it will not be possible to deal with it.

The method of importing subtools has become easier to use with version upgrades and updates.

On the other hand, the only way to delete subtool data is to search for it manually, except for the material collection.
If you don't create new folders in the material palette to some extent and separate your brush materials and image materials by category, you may end up regretting it.

I think that many of the people who ask questions on ASK about Clip Studio Cloud or C drive pressure are in the same situation.

I tried this. It took an inordinate amount of time. Also, Clip Studio switched the tool icon, from a brush to an airbrush, after I dropped 8 .sut files into it.
Clip Studio's system is very crude. They really need a proper brush manager. They have tons of options and commands on the rest of the program, but this part is crude.

Dropping them in one at a time still is a lousy option. It's like washing the floor with a toothbrush.
Switching to Corel Paint sounds like a lot better option. I only have the basic Clip Studio, and only a 1 year rental license that I got through Humble Bundle, so I'm not married to the program.

Clip Studio has some nice features and tools, but if they are going to make this difficult to use, just because the programmers don't want to build a standard installation script, it's unlikely we will be staying with Clip Studio or recommending it.

    Thank you for your reply.

As you probably know, the people who post on ASK are not CLIP STUDIO PAINT developers, but only general users.
Even if you mention problems with the specifications or requests for improvements here, they will not reach the developers, and it will not improve the specifications.
You can't expect much feedback on unofficial content either.

Please try making your request to official support.

In case anyone else has this problem, I found out from Celsys that they do NOT make brush packs. The brush packs I got in a Humble Bundle with Clip Studio, came from a different company. It would be nice if Clip Studio had a brush manager, perhaps built into it's Material manager, however it is understandable that they don't.
