Please check that you are not operating the layer search function on the layer palette.
The layer search side is literally just a search function, so you cannot move it or draw on it.
The icons are similar, so it may be easy to operate it incorrectly.
It is in a place that is quite easy to mistake, so
I think it would be a good idea to change the palette layout.
