Object tool can't partially move the selected part!

Hi there, my object tool (the cube with arrow icon) can't move the selected part of an object. It will move the whole object only. Was it a setting issue? Please help! I tried to reinstall the new trial version but the problem was the same. Thank you!

See Selection mode above.
Open the Tool Properties for the Object Tool.
In the Operation section, under "Add Selection", check whether it is set to "New Selection" on the far left or "Toggle Selection State" on the far right.
