How to have painting Overlay option similar to Photoshop

I've recently been trying to paint more realistically in Clip Studio.

Most "realistic" tutorials use Photoshop, and most of them do line art on the bottom layer, and then use a single "Overlay" layer to heavily render with color on top of the line art.
However, Clip Studio's "Overlay" layer is different, it effects the hue of color slightly.

What is the best method to paint on top of line art so that I can easily blend the line art into the color rendering?
I want to be able to see the darker line art beneath the true color.

I will not put it under
Place the line layer on top of the paint layer
Beyond the line it must be transparent
If there is a white base other than a black line, choose "change brightness to transparency" from menu "Edit"
Layers in the line are locked

If you really want to lay down the layer of the line down
    Create a folder layer
Create multiple layers in folder layer and work on paint
The composition mode of the folder layer is "multiplication"
