From point of initial contact, there is a distance that my pen has to travel for the input to be recognised, and only then does the lag stop. This happens when picking colours, scrolling down or up and also when zooming in or out. Below is a diagram illustrated by the original poster about the issue.
Steps I have tried:
- Reinstall the drivers
- Download an old driver
- Switch from WinTab to TabletPC (viceversa)
- Toggle off Windows Ink
I use a:
- HUION KAMVAS 13 (Gen 3)
- Driver_20.1.1.64
- Windows 11
I've recently reset my computer due to a faulty SSD, so I've had to redownload everything. However this issue never occurred before the reset. I theorise it has something to do with Windows 11.

For pen tablets, we recommend making a separate backup of your settings, deleting all user settings on the pen tablet (essentially resetting it), uninstalling it, and reinstalling the same version of the driver that was previously working without any issues.
If the issue persists, we recommend contacting official support directly.

1 month agoWhy not try uninstalling the most recent OS update for Windows 11 and see if it works?
In my case of Windows 11, the most recent update was KB5065789.
It may be an update that causes various problems, so it might be worth trying.
If you notice any problems, you should take measures to avoid updates for a while.- Japanese

1 month agoIf you have another pen tablet,
we recommend uninstalling the driver for your current device,
and then installing the driver for the other pen tablet and checking that it works.
One pen tablet driver per device will avoid conflicts.
It is best to avoid installing more than one driver.
Also, check that you do not have two pen tablet drivers on your current device.- Japanese

1 month agoKB5065789 is a preview patch, so if you don't want to install it as a guinea pig update, it's best not to install it.
Many people are experiencing communication issues, such as problems with various peripheral devices and connecting to a failing VPN.
I started having communication issues right after it was released, so I uninstalled KB5065789 and it's now back to normal.- Japanese

1 month agoThe update date may vary slightly depending on your PC, but I recently noticed some issues with my PC right after the update arrived, so I thought the timing might be similar.
People with certain PC environments may be more susceptible to this issue.
By the way, simply uninstalling the app will immediately reinstate it with an update, so you'll need to disable automatic updates and move the update date back.
The simple uninstallation method is as follows:
If you have a corresponding update history (newer updates are listed at the bottom), you can uninstall it.
