Copy Subtool detail values.

Is there a way to copy the values from one Subtool property to another?
For example if i create a pressure curve for the opacity of one of my brushes, can I copy that curve and paste it into the brush density pressure of the same brush?
What I'm actually doing is trying to match the tilt curve for several properties, opacity, brush density, and brush size.
I'm basically trying to make it so if I hold a pencil brush horizontally it will be like using the side of the lead.
I'm eye balling it right now trying to get it close enough, but it's a sharp falloff and being just a little off makes a big difference.

30 days agoWhile reproducing the pen pressure graph is extremely difficult, other parameters can be entered numerically.
As an alternative, why not create a duplicate of the brush that has the required "pen pressure curve" and manually change the nose parameters?
The only problem is transferring images from subtools that use images for their "brush tips."
This is easy if the "brush tip" is something you created yourself, but you'll need to extract the "brush tip" image for subtools you downloaded as materials.
Basically, they consist of a single brush tip, or multiple "brush tip" images.
Prepare a large canvas (10,000 x 10,000 px) and isolate the image of the brush you want to extract by setting the brush size to its maximum value and increasing the stroke spacing.
Extract the isolated image and re-register it as the "brush tip" of the duplicated subtool.

30 days agoit wont work to copy it from another tool because im trying to copy the curve in the same tool to another property.
For example, when I hold the pencil on its side, the brush size increases to 200%, and also the brush thickness increases by 70% and the brush density and opacity decrease to 0 % + pen pressure.
It's a complex movement because there are a lot of things happening when I tilt the pen. And I would like to have all of these properties have an identical curve.
Like, I am either using the tip of the pencil or the pencil is on its side.
With a real pencil, this is just true because it's a physical object, and it is very intuitive.
I'm trying to replicate that.

30 days agoGoogle Translate is unclear, and it seems my "alternative" wasn't conveyed.
The following is a machine translation not provided by Google.
Reproducing pen pressure graphs is extremely difficult to achieve precisely, but other parameters can be input numerically.
As an alternative, how about creating a duplicate of a brush that possesses the required “pressure curve” and manually adjusting its nose parameters?
The potential issue lies in the image relocation task for subtools that use images for their “brush tips.”
If you created the “brush tip” yourself, it's straightforward, but you'll need to extract the “brush tip” image from a downloaded subtool asset.
These are typically composed of a single image or multiple “brush tip” images.
Prepare a large canvas (10,000 x 10,000 px). Set the brush size to its maximum value for the brush you want to extract, increase the stroke spacing, and isolate the brush tip image.
Extract this isolated image and re-register it to the “brush tip” of the duplicated subtool.

29 days agoI couldn't find an explanation on the English page, so here's the URL for the Japanese page:
https://help.clip-studio.com/ja-jp/manual_jp/150_tools/%E3%82%B5%E3%83%96%E3%83%84%E3%83%BC%E3%83%AB%E8%A9%B3%E7%B4%B0%E3%83%91%E3%83%AC%E3%83%83%E3%83%88%E3%80%90PRO__47_EX%E3%80%91.htm#1363192
You can copy the values you set in the "④ Menu Display" section indicated by the ▲ in the URL above.
Explanation of copying values follows:
> Copying values
> You can copy the settings of specific items to other subtools.
> Display the context menu for the item you want to copy and select [Copy Value]. When the copy destination appears, choose from [Copy to All Subtools in the Same Group], [Copy to All Subtools in the Same Tool], or [Copy to All Subtools in All Tools].
You cannot copy values to only a specific subtool.
[Copy to All Subtools in the Same Group] is the narrowest scope of copying.
We recommend creating a subtool group containing only the source subtool and the subtool you want to copy.
It may be a good idea to make a copy of the subtool itself just in case.
(Duplicate it to another subtool group, register it in the material palette, export it as a subtool, etc.)
Also, the following changes have been made in version 4.1.0.
If you are using version 4.1.0 or later, be sure to check and enable the item that affects the source you want to copy.
When you copy an item with a set [Influence source] for a brush-type tool to another subtool using the [Copy value] items in the [Subtool Detail] palette, only the values of the [Influence source] items that are common to the source will be reflected in the destination subtool, and the displayed type of [Influence source] will not change.- Japanese

28 days agohere is an example image of what i am trying to do.
from what ive found there is no way to do this.
I think it would be a great addition to Clip Studio.
When I'm painting with real brushes on paper, when i tilt the brush, several things are happening at the same time.
It would be really great to maybe have some global dynamics within specific subtools to really fine-tune the way they feel when you're using them.
like "ïf I tilt my pen 45 degrees" "X, Y, and Z all happen"- English
