The installer doesn't run

I downloaded the latest installer and tried to install it, but
the installer won't work.
Even when I allow the app to change devices, it won't install.
The same thing happened when I disabled my antivirus software.
Could someone help me?

    It's a Windows 11 PC.

Does it not start even when run as administrator?

    Please check the above FAQ.

In rare cases, the installer data may be incomplete.
After configuring Microsoft Defender (the steps are for Windows 10, but the process should be similar for Windows 11),
please delete the installer and then try downloading it again.

Please also try reinstalling with your antivirus software disabled.

Once the installation is complete and you're able to launch the application,
just to be safe, please configure your security software for exclusions as described in the FAQ below.

To answer more specifically about the OS, it seems that if the user name during PC setup is written in kanji, it may not work properly (is this a program issue?).

Check the file name in Local Disk (C) -> User.

It should probably be the second one from the top, but if it's written in Japanese, I recommend changing it using the link below.

    > The same thing happened even when I disabled my antivirus software.

I've had issues installing it before.

I'm not sure if I updated my security software (I have Avast installed), updated my virus database, or read the following FAQ:

    https://support.clip-studio.com/ja-jp/faq/articles/20190220

But I think I was able to install it without any problems after updating my security software and virus database.

    Thank you everyone.
Running it with administrator privileges made no difference.
My username is alphabetic, so I think that's fine.
When I tried to turn off "Controlled Folder Access,"
I got the message "Your IT administrator..." and I couldn't open the item.
This seems to be a Windows 11 symptom,

    I tried doing this,
but the file wouldn't run either.

Is it possible to install in safe mode? (I've never tried that.)
Also, why not try creating another user in Windows with administrator privileges and see if you can install it there?

    Just to be sure,
Did you purchase your Windows 11 as a new device, with Windows 11 pre-installed?

Or did you upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11 on the same device?

    https://jp.minitool.com/data-recovery/windows-security-device-security-page-not-available.html
Some features are blocked by your IT administrator.

If you're using a computer at school or an organization,
it's possible that your IT administrator has blocked some aspects of Device Security for some reason.

In this situation, you'll typically see an error message stating that the Device Security page is unavailable.

To resolve the error, please contact your IT administrator.

But is the PC you're using a device you own and use?

The terms and conditions for CLIP STUDIO PAINT stipulate that both the perpetual version and subscription plan can only be used on devices you own and use.

Please make sure that you meet these requirements.

If you manage the device yourself, there are no issues with the terms of use.

Please check each of the following headings in the article linked above, and see if:

    - Device Security is disabled by Group Policy settings
    - Third-party antivirus software is incompatible with Windows Security
    - Firmware or software is outdated

    - Try methods 1 through 4 in the "Resolve the Device Security "Page Unavailable" message.

After some research, it seems like this problem occurs when files are deleted during initialization.
The solution is written on the website below, so I'm sure it will fix the problem.

Did you reset your PC while it was running Windows 11?

I've seen occasional issues with Windows Updates.

    I think it's probably a security issue.

Windows 11 is an upgrade from Windows 10.
I tried all the suggestions you gave me, but nothing changed.
I tried reverting to Windows 10, but that didn't change anything.

    Good evening everyone.
I managed to solve the problem myself.
I created a new account and logged in,
and then I was able to install it.
    Apologies for the trouble.

    Thank you!
