How do I animate with Clipping/Mask

Hello all. I am really struggling with the animation. I am not trying to do normal animation and simply need something to just slide. I can do that fine but am having problems with it as it is a tone and keeping it within the area I want it to appear and slide within, without it being either in the transparent background (the burgundy area) or on any of the other elements of my work. Simply within the purple little box. I fused the tone for the first option with a solid colour, put it on multiply and put a mask. Image 2 is what the tone normaly looks like and the way I have things set up. This is the only part that is animating. I just want the tone to be able to drag upwards. I am wanting to keep it with the multiply setting like the first image. The gif included is what I want it to do, but cannot for the life of me get it to stay within the area. 2nd Gif is what it is doing currently with the mask on. Even if it is not on it just removes the mask and covered in the way the gif and sencond image behave.

Any help on how to get this to flow properly would be appreciated.

I recreated the materials from your images. "Base," "Purple Gradient Transform Box," and "Repeating Heart Image."

I used minimal tiling for the heart material.
Setting the animation keyframes to the green "Constant Speed" will ensure smooth repeats.
In the PRO version, to set the end keyframe to frame 25, first set the end frame key at frame 24.
Next, extend the clip in the red frame to frame 25 and move the end frame key setting to frame 25 (this is also possible in the PRO version).

By the way, I used subtractive compositing for the heart layer, setting the opacity to 9%.
