setup detects a version installed that isnt installed

I installed one version of clip studio paint (4.01.004) but i realised to use the version that i have paid for - perpetual one-time purchase license for Ver. 4.0 - so i deleted it but when i try to download it it keeps saying "This setup has detected that version 4.01.004 of CLIP STUDO PAINT is already installed.
This installs an earlier version of CLIP STUDIO PAINT (4.0.3)
You will have to uninstall the previous version before installing this version."
ive checked so many times and its not in my finder so what do i do??

14 days agoCan't you uninstall it?
Instead of searching for it in Explorer and deleting it, use "Uninstall or change a program" in the Control Panel.
Or uninstall it from Settings > Apps > "Installed apps."

I have both CLIP STUDIO PAINT and CLIP STUDIO.
I'll uninstall both.
A similar question was asked on ASK.
This seems to have been fixed by installing the version listed in the dialog.
I think it's version 4.0.1 in this case.
If you don't have the installer, you won't be able to uninstall it, so please report it to official support.
