I bought the tablet and have a 2-year subscription, but now I can't save files in Clip Paint EX. When I click save, it says "You must purchase and activate a license to perform this function."

Just to be sure, please check here to see if you currently have a license or own a license.

It's likely that your trial version has expired, and the limited-function version of the test drawing mode is running.
It appears that the license you own hasn't been switched to.
This won't switch automatically, so you'll need to manually switch to a purchased license.
You may be able to preserve your ongoing work by following the first-aid solution in the FAQ below:
https://support.clip-studio.com/es-es/faq/articles/20200181#e6346c6a
Registering the entire layer in the material palette may help preserve it, so please do so before attempting to activate your license.
It may also be a good idea to take a screenshot.
If you can activate the license as is, you might be able to switch and save even with the canvas expanded, but I haven't switched since using the limited-function trial mode, which expired, so I can't be sure about that.

8 days agoIt says "limited functionality version" at the top,
which probably means that "functionality related to material registration" is also limited,
so you may not be able to register a work in progress using the emergency solution.
If you switch by checking and changing the license,
and the application does not restart, you may be able to save the canvas in progress.
It may not be possible, so try to take screenshots of wherever possible.
It may be difficult to save the work at its original size.- Japanese
