How do I clip a layer/folder to another layer/folder that has already been clipped to something else?

Using image as reference:
1. Layer 'Hand clean shadows' (blue) is clipped to 'Hand clean fill' (yellow)
2. How do I clip another layer to 'Hand clean shadows' ONLY? i.e. follows the shape of objects in 'Hand clean shadows', but not 'Hand clean fill'?

Instead of placing layers in a linear order, you need to put the group inside the intended clipping group.

First, clip the “FX1” group into the “HAND CLEAN SHADOWS” group.
Then put both of those into the same group (call this X).

After that, clip X into “HAND CLEAN HIGHLIGHT” (if you want it clipped there).
Then group it again (call this Y), and clip Y into the NORMAL group.

    Note:
    - All groups must NOT use “Through” as the blending mode.
    - below is just an example
