how do i convert my imported images to back to bitmap?

so everytime i import a image it changes to vector how do i convert back to bitmap or whatever the original setting is

13 days agoPerhaps it's not in vector format, but rather a non-destructive layer called an "image material layer." This is by design.
Try right-clicking the image layer you loaded in the layer palette and selecting "Rasterize."
Rasterizing will turn it into a raster layer, allowing you to draw on it with brushes.
