I cannot completely erase the image drawn on the selected layer.

I'm using the iPad version of Clip Studio Paint Pro, version 5.0.4.
Previously, I could delete everything by tapping the delete icon in the command bar, but that stopped working a while ago. I'm also concerned about the change in the icon UI.
It's quite inconvenient and I'm having trouble with it... Could you please advise me?

Here's some additional information on how to configure the command bar.

Click the combined menu "≡" located directly below the "Edit" menu at the top of the image you attached.
Click "Command Bar Settings" within that menu, and then place the erase tool icon to add it to the command bar.
On tablet devices such as iPads, you can rearrange the icons by dragging them up or down, or left or right.
