I purchased the item mentioned in the title, but it says "Serial number for update plan not found" and only a Cancel button appears. I received the activation code, though. What should I do?

ASK is a user forum, and no one there has the authority to handle any procedures.
The update plan cannot be used unless you possess a perpetual license.
This is a preferential plan for perpetual license holders.

■ Important Notice
After the update plan is activated, your perpetual license will become permanently invalid until the plan expires.
↑This means that while the perpetual license is active, it will switch to the update plan, and therefore, you will not be able to upgrade the perpetual license itself (the perpetual license itself) or change its grade (from PRO to EX).
The update plan will carry over the grade of your existing perpetual license.
Were you hoping to use your existing license as an EX license?
The upgrade plan cannot be changed to EX if your current perpetual license is still at the PRO level.
To use the upgrade plan as EX, you must cancel your current upgrade plan and then change the grade of your perpetual license itself.
We are unable to determine which version of the perpetual PRO license you have.
Also, the upgrade plan is a one-year contract and automatically renews unless canceled.
Canceling the upgrade plan is not an immediate cancellation; if there is remaining usage time, you can use it until the end of that period, so it is merely a cancellation reservation.
If the remaining usage time is short and within an acceptable range, you can request a forced cancellation that will forfeit the entire remaining usage period.
Please contact official support directly.
Forfeiting the remaining days would be a waste, so if there is a long period remaining, it is probably safer to just reserve the cancellation.- Japanese
