Line weight jumping weirdly at low pen pressure?

so this isn't like the biggest issue in the world but its been really bugging me for a while. basically what it says in the header, whenever I'm drawing with low pressure with any pen, this little jump will happen, usually really close the beginning and end of lines, and it seems to be more common if I'm drawing diagonally. I haven't found any brush settings that fix this issue, and I'm pretty sure it's an app side issue, as the jump appears on brush previews as well. I'm thinking maybe the program is handling decimals weirdly or something? I'm just not sure how or if this is something that can be fixed, and I haven't found anybody else mentioning this. if anyone knows what the issue could be please let me know, thank you!

Have you adjusted the default pen pressure settings to suit your hand?

Please adjust it so that you can express lines clearly, from thin to thick.

You might also want to try uninstalling and reinstalling a different version of your tablet driver.
