Can I export 3D assets I buy/download in order to preserve them, if they get deleted in the future or I want to have an archive of assets offline/backed up on different devices in the event something happens to my main computer where I use Clip Studio ?
I don't want to use them for other software, I want to save them, back them up on a USB flash drive or an external HDD, and if something happens to my PC, I can just import them again offline.
A few assets I downloaded got deleted, I had my PC wiped and now I can't get them back. So I'm trying to think about the future and back up materials I buy/download.
I know you can do that with brushes, but I don't know about 3D assets.

5 days agoYou can back up your entire materials folder by following the instructions here: https://support.clip-studio.com/en-us/faq/articles/20190152
If you truly only want to back up a few materials, you can create a CLIP file with the 3D materials you want to save added to the canvas, then back up that file.- English

4 days agoYou can also paste 3D materials onto a layer and save them as a .clip file.
To use it, open the material's .clip file → select the material with the object tool → copy it from the Edit menu → move it to the canvas you are working on → paste it.
Of course, it cannot be used in other programs.- Japanese
