Can I have studio clip on both my computer and macrosoft surface go?

When I tired I just got a prompt saying I needed to cancel the subscription I had, I really rather not but wanted to see if there was another way.

With each purchased license for Pro or EX you should be able to download the software to a maximum of two computers. If you can't download it to a second computer then either there is a third computer you forgot about, or you actually have DEBUT which only allows one computer to download and use CSP. If it's the former, you'll need to cancel a subscription and if it's the latter you'll need to upgrade in order to use it on more computers.

yeah, I had it on my laptop too. So if I do the cancel subscription will it cancel on the computer I want it too or will it do it to both computers?

I'm not sure. https://www.clipstudio.net/en/support under the serial number heading it says:

"If I purchase a new PC, can I authenticate with my existing serial number?"

"Yes. The Clip Studio Paint license allows you to activate and use the software on two computers with the same serial number as long as the software does not run simultaneously and it’s being used by the same user.

If you need to activate a license with a third computer for an unforeseen reason such as the breakdown or replacement of a PC, you can re-authenticate two computers after deleting the previous authentication."

So it sounds like it's a possibility you may have re activate the license on the ones you want the license to be active on.

There is no way to release licenses separately on multiple computers with license registration.
As axeswing says, "Over license" automatically releases all licenses and registers the two again.
