How to change white into transparent without changing other colors

If I use "convert brightness to opacity", the other colors become black and white.
Is there any way to convert only white into transparent without changing other colors like red and etc?

5 years agoDuplicate the layer and test below (hide the original layer)
Click on the white area with the automatic selection tool and cut or erase from the edit.
Follow adjacent pixels in the tool property of the automatic selection tool: off
Please adjust other settings (color error, antialiasing etc.) as you like.
