5 years agoThe only versions of Clip Studio that have expiring licenses is the version from the Apple Store (iPad) and the version that came bundled with a purchased Wacom tablet.
Is your version one of those two versions?
If it was the Wacom version, how were you trying to "upgrade" it?

5 years agoNo it is not one of those versions.

5 years agoIf that is the case, it seems that there is a mistake somewhere, your license should never expire if you bought the license. I think this might be something you need to contact Celsys directly about.
I don't recognize that error page.
Did you try to use the regular buy page: https://www.clipstudio.net/en/purchase
or the upgrade buy page: https://www.clipstudio.net/en/purchase#upgrade
If you have the key purchased and can still open clip studio, go to help>register license.

5 years agoI think you're mistaking my question and I'm sorry for the confusion. Clip Studio Paint had a new version so I decided to update, but then my verification for my license failed.

5 years agoOh, ok. Yeah, there's some miscommunication.
In the title and post you said upgrade, not update. So you are trying to upDATE to version 1.8.5, not upGRADE from PRO to EX.
You can try and restart your computer if you haven't already and see what that does, but you should still contact Celsys regarding the issue. If you purchased your license for Clip Studio it's for life and should never throw the error.
