How to set up a double page spread?

im making a comic of the same dimensions as DC or Marvel single issues. Im trying to set up a double page spread but cant seem to find an effective method to account for gutter space, safe area, and bleed marks.

Are you using CSP EX?
It comes with a feature for comic management and double-page spread option.

If you have it installed, just right-click on the first page of the double-page and select "combine", they will fuse together into a single double-page spread and you can even enter a size for the gutter if needed. I think the bleed/safe area will stay the same as entered into the comic project.
