Hand/ Pan Not working with tablet

Hi, everyone
I've been looking for a long time but I'm getting nowhere and I'm going to lose it. I've tried the windows Security update fix, I've tried updating my Network and graphics drivers, and I've gone through every menu and setting in CSP and have gotten nowhere.
My problem isn't that the hand tool appears when I'm drawing; it is NOT the Pan glitch. My problem is that I've set one of my tablet pen buttons to "space" so that I can pan quickly with the button (this works, and has always worked, with my other computer)but now when I use the button, the hand tool icon appears, but as soon as I touch the pen to the tablet to pan, it changes back to my current tool. Which really pisses me off because on my other computer, I don't even have to touch the pen to tablet for it to work; it just hovers and it pans properly.

So this obviously hinders my work efficiency as my muscle memory is wanting it to pan while my pen hovers, via the pen shortcut button.
I'm at my wits end. I've wasted so much valuable working time (considering this my job and therefore wasted time = wasted money) and I'm so ready for it to just work.

I do not know the maker and model of your pen tablet,
In CLIP STUDIO PAINT, if you only want to assign the "palm" tool while pressing the side button of your stylus,
You can open "Modifier key settings" from the file menu, for example, you can change it to "Hand" by "Temporary change of tool" to "Right click".

    sorry if that's not right.

I seriously owe you my life. Thank you SO MUCH. I can't believe it was such an easy fix and I was just dancing around it!
