I am drawing a picture in the Grisaille style. There is no line drawing.
I would like to draw hair on layer A in black and white, overlay layer B on top of it, and add color, but other layers will also be affected.
How can I color overlay on layer A only?

or
Take a selection of layer A and mask layer B (second image)
