When I download the updated version it doesnt retain the settings of the brushes, it all turns into circle brushes

Im updating my program to the 1.8.8 but when I do all the brushes and things are all in a basic default mode I think? Theres no more texture in the Flat brush oil paint brush, and the Soft textured brushes all turn into the circle ones, they jsut dont have texture anymore and I really dont know what to do, Ive uninstalled and installed it but it still didnt fix its self

You can follow the link in my answer to this post (and several other following links) https://ask.clip-studio.com/en-us/detail?id=13092

But the short version is: Hold Shift while you start Paint, select Tool and confirm that. It will initialize your tools (make them all back to their default state, including deleting any downloaded ones. As you can see if you do that, there are other things that can be initialized as well) and that should bring back the textures. Always have a backup of your Celsys folders just in case something goes wrong (in Documents, Program Files, etc).

What version did you update from? If it was a version before 1.6.2/1.6.4, there were definitely problems updating when those came out.
