Vector layer merging results in erased lines

  • VIEW 1,203

I have found that when using the vector layer to do outlines, when I merge vector layers together, the layer doesn't combine properly. Paths where I used the eraser tool show up and destroy my lines.

Is this an intended 'feature' of the vector tool that I can't do anything about? If so, I guess I'll just stick to using the raster layers from now on.

When erasing the vector, drawing in transparent color will be like a question.
If you want to completely erase the line in the vector layer, erase it with the tool with "Vector erase" checked.

Even if you use the eraser, if you do not check "Erase Vector", it will be drawn in "Transparent color".
If you check where the vector line is drawn by "Menu-Display-Vector center line display", it is easy to understand that there is a transparent color.
Because there are transparent lines, the lines of the layer below will not be visible when they are combined.
