How to paint inside the area, and not outside

  • VIEW 728

I enable a reference layer , open a new raster layer above it I wish that I can sketch, draw, paint inside of that area and not outside, but when I click on "Do not exceed line of reference layer" its enable me to draw outside of the area, but I want to achieve the exact opposite to draw inside.
I am aware that if I clip it below I could do it but rather I wish to find an easier way, because when I have lots of layers it impossible to make it right

    In the layer palette
Click on the thumbnail of the Zmaj ceo layer while holding down the (ctrl) key
"Selection area" can be created in the shape of Zmaj ceo layer
    In the layer palette
Select the layer or folder with the selection
    Create a layer mask

Applying a layer mask to a folder prevents multiple layers from protruding from the character

    You can also clip folders
