serial number problom

I've bought a new computer and installed clip studio paint pro which I have on the older one and the serial number that I took from the old one does not work.. I went to the program opend "help" and then "virsion information" from there I just copied the serial number that was written there.. have I done something not correctly?

When you buyed the software (Clip Studio Paint) should had arrived to you an e-mail with the serial number.
Go to your e-mail search for the celsys or clip studio paint e-mail and see your serial number.
After this open clip studio paint and click here to register your license.
