how to upload image materials to clip studio on manage materials ?

hi , ive been trying to get pass the first part of uploading my photos on manage materials , but everytime i try to do so, it keeps saying, there isnt any material uploaded, plus , that only jpeg files can be uploaded, all the pictures ive taken are, jpg, also, there not small pictures, how can i get around this, ?
