Airbrush tilt effect possible?

Is it possible to create the effect of airbrush spread relative to the tilt of the pen using the built in brush dynamics? As I'm writing this, it occurs to me that it's possible to mimic this effect using a custom brush tip shape, but if possible, I'd like to know if there's a way to achieve this look with the built in options. Thanks!
