Graphics card drivers are up to date (GPU AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT, Driver:Radeon Software 21.1.1), DirectX version 12 up to date. OS Windows 10 64 bit.
I have followed this page: https://support.clip-studio.com/en-us/faq/articles/20190127
It freezes with multisampling enabled, freezes with multisampling disabled. I also used the DirectX Diagnostic Tool suggested, all monitors are connected to the correct GPU.
Clip Studio Modeller program works properly with no isses. I have seen other users with similar problems but I have not found a solution yet.

3 years agoI had the same problem as you and it seems you're using a multi monitor setup. I'm using a normal monitor as my main display and a Wacom Cintiq Pro 16 as a secondary display.
I found a workaround.
Insert your 3D model when CSP is active on your main monitor, there you can change the Display Settings for Editing to Normal mode. Or you can keep it in Fast mode and drag your CSP window to your secondary monitor. You can then add more 3D models on that layer (ie. your layer must have a 3D element already inserted for it not to crash).
A change back from Normal to Fast mode must always be done on the main monitor, otherwise CSP will crash.
To recapitulate,
• Switching from Fast mode to Normal fixes it but performance is slow
• Workarounds to keep Fast mode on multi monitor displays:
Add 3D model when CSP is active on main monitor and then drag it to second monitor
• Crash happens when :
Insert 3D model in Fast mode when CSP is active on secondary monitor
Switching Normal to Fast on second monitor
I already emailed the support team with a detail description of my findings. I hope it'll be fixed one day. CSP has always been finnicky with multi monitor setups.

Message3 years agoThank you very much, this was the workaround I needed. I had no idea that clip studio was dependant on primary monitor (my setup was the same as before but the Primary and Secondary monitors were reversed). I hope they can fix this in the future so workarounds are not necessary.
