Brush won't snap to rulers since updating to Clip Studio Paint 1.7.2

I updated Clip Studio Paint to version 1.7.2, and now my brush tool will not snap to the perspective ruler. The "Snap to" buttons are turned on and the rulers are purple so as far as i know it should snap. Anyone else have this issue?
