Is it possible to configure DocumentBackup and InitialBackup to an External Drive?

I’m working with some big files CSP is acting slow in saving. I noticed it’s making copies of the current project (600+ mb) file to DocumentBackup and InitialBackup. Is it possible to configure CSP to not make a document backup or if anything save the copies its making to an External Drive?

It’s slowing my workflow. :(

There is a recovery file in it, and the oldest ones will disappear.
You cannot change the file location to an external drive.
The workflow becomes heavier because it accumulates cache.
Sometimes you can delete the history or resize the canvas> "OK:" without doing anything to clear the cache and make it lighter.

I just don’t understand why something that’s standard as an option for other production software (ex: blender, PS, Cinema4D) provide the user the option to relocate the cache and back-up files to any location desired. CSP only allows the cache but those backup files can get massive depending on a users workflow.

Having to go in to delete the files because its slowing down the workflow or having to scale down the project file, undermines the status of professional level production software. I hope for future updates the option is given to users for where they decides to locate the DocumentBackup and InitialBackup like they can for the Cache.
