transform tool not working?

whenever i try to transform something in clip studio paint (1.10.6) it simply does nothing. i've tried using the shortcut (ctrl + t) and i've tried edit > transform > all of the options from there, and nothing works :( i've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program multiple times, and nothing changed
everything else in the program seems to be fine, it's just the transform tool that i'm having issues with which is a big problem for me as it's an essential part of my art
any help is appreciated, thanks !!

2 years agothere are drawings on the current layer. i'm not sure if this screenshot is very helpful, but it shows what happens when i attempt to transform using the ctrl t command (nothing). it's the same when i haven't made a selection.
sorry if this isn't helpful or not what you were asking for, i'm just not really sure what i need to show in the screenshot or explain- English
