2 years agoFAQ on how to import materials:
https://support.clip-studio.com/en-us/faq/articles/20190004
Downloaded tools do not automatically show up in the tool/subtool palettes. You have to drag and drop or import them to the corresponding area.
If you download them from Assets, they will be in your Materials palette (Window > Materials > Downloads).
If you downloaded them from the internet, they will be in whatever folder you saved them in on your hard drive.
It might help if you have screenshots and what material you are having trouble with.- English

2 years agohello,
It's because, as the previous user said, you have to import them.
After you have downloaded a brush from ASSETS, it will be accessible from the Materials palette. However, you still have to import them. The materials will be seen in your sub tool box only after you have imported them there. To do so, you can either drag them over from Materials palette, or you can click on the button saying "Add sub tool" seen in your Sub tool palette. By the way, if you can't see the button "Add sub tool", that means you are using an old version of CSP, and it's time to update it.
Please reread the reply provided by the previous user, as it has useful information.
If I have misunderstood the issue, please provide some screenshots. It would be easier to help you that way- English

2 years agoI made a video to go along with the Support FAQ (this only applies to brush materials):
https://youtu.be/juP3bfYOKGY
One method I didn't record was that you can actually drag your brush from Clip Studio's Manage Materials section to the Sub Tool palette as well.
What is the specific Asset that you are having trouble with?- English

2 years agoIn your first screenshot, you need to click the tag "Downloaded Material". You should also be able to drag it from Clip Studio (the lower part of your first screenshot) to your Sub Tool palette IF (AND ONLY IF) It is a BRUSH. If it is something else, there is a different way to import it (see the FAQ). Not all Assets are brushes.
This last point is important because that いくら material is NOT A BRUSH. It is an Image Material (clip art/a picture), so you will be dragging that onto the canvas, not into the Sub Tool Palette.- English
