Unable to log in on clip studio app on main PC.

I am unable to log in on the clip studio launcher on my main computer. I can do it on my laptop but on my desktop this makes getting brushes difficult and that is where i do most of my work.
Whenever I try logging in on the launcher the window freezes up and I can't click anything or close it. but I can still move the window around. even if I minimize everything else I don't see the window for inputting my login credentials. I tried updating and it doesn't seem to fix it.
