I cant see the paintbrushes i pick

The problem is that in the left side of the screen you can see which brushes you can pick and below you can add new brushes that you download, right? i cant. I cant see the names nor a little image of it i cant and i dont know why maybe its because of my computer? I use a mac so maybe thats the problem. I mean the problem doesnt affect the experience but i find it weird, can some one help me?
