Symmetry Ruler not updating with operation curve corrections?

Hi guys,
I'm using a symmetry ruler down the middle of my canvas to draw faces with curves, but they don't update on the opposite side when I use the Operation/Correct line tools to make adjustments?
Hoping someone knows a fix, thank you! :)
