Can't click any of the material settings for brush material

i wanted to try making a custom brush, but everytime i try to register it as a material, it won't let me click anything and just greys the option out

2 years agoVector layers cannot be treated as brush tip shapes
Please register the raster layer
Even with raster layers, multiple layers cannot be treated as brush tip shapes.
