Color Bleed through Opaque Layers

When adding colors to fill out any blank spots the fill tool missed, I'd come back minutes later to find that the color I used (which was the original color I used with Fill Tool) was not the same as the main color. I would try to correct, but find that a completely hue of the color was being added. I also found that some colors are bleeding through the opaque layers.
One such was a dark grey line that showed through a lighter color, even though they were several layers seperated. Another one showed that it was appearing through anohter layer. All layers are Normal with 100 Opaque settings. I'm finding this happening to mostly darker, cooler colors, though some earthy tones are affected as well.
Also, when I have the Lock Transparent Pixels Selected and try to change the overal layer that has the colors in the same layer, it starts to either discolor or change the color making it seem more transparent.
It's possible i have some settings messed up somewhere or the program is having a hard time keeping up. This is the first time I've seen this and i've done several pieces so far with this. Any help or suggetions would be greatly appreciated!

Message2 years agoThank you for your response. I checked tool settings once more and the Fill Tool was at 98% Opacity which would explain why it was acting up. Now to get back to it and fix my colors again.
Thanks again!- English
