Changing new device will lose files?

My imac crashed and wouldn't open so I cannot use my clip paint. I would like to switch to my laptop and log in to my account, will my current works in my account be deleted? I have an on going artwork which is in my account I would like to finish it off when I switch into another device. Please help :(

    Your ongoing work (file) is in the imac.

    If you stored your data in a cloud service, external storage device, etc. before the imac failed
    I hope you can download the data from there.

    If you only store data on your imac,
    Data contained in the data through recovery services, etc.
    I think it would be difficult without salvage.

    If I were you I'd take the mac to a Geek Squad at Best Buy or some kind of computer mechanic to see if you can salvage the files, even if they all get placed into a USB drive instead. It not turning on may not mean everything has been deleted/lost just yet.
    Like the other responders said, I'm afraid there's no way to restore them otherwise unless you were backing them up specifically to the Clip Studio cloud, Dropbox, or some other cloud service.
