The closest I can get is to edit the properties of my tablet pen to use the "C" shortcut, but this comes with the flaw of having to click with the eraser before, which is no different than a regular keybind, so it is useless.
Is there any way to make the modifier key work smoothly, without having to click or press a button? It is hard to get out of the habit of turning my pen around to erase a line, it messes up the texture of the brush.
(Sorry for stiff language, I want the question to be easy to machine translate into other languages for anyone else who needs help with this)

3 years agoI don't think it can be done because there is no "execute option command" in the tail switch of the modifier key.
Please make a request to official support.
I don't have the habit of turning the pen and using the tail of the pen as an eraser, so I don't understand your hardship.
I rarely use the eraser itself, but instead of using the eraser, I change the pen tip to a transparent color. (Assign a shortcut key to the button on the side of the pen)

Message3 years agoI will message support with the request, I hope this is something they will consider adding in a future update. I mapped it to a button on the tablet, hopefully I will remember to use it!
