How do I remove the ruler on my screen?

I am finished with the ruler, but it won't come of my screen? Please help.

1 year agoIf you want to remove the ruler completely,
Right-click the ruler icon → click [Delete Ruler]
Or drag the ruler icon onto the trash can in the upper right
If you want to temporarily disable the ruler while leaving it,
Right-click the ruler icon → click [Show Ruler]
Alternatively, hold down the SHIFT key and click the ruler icon.
