Font size not the same in CSP as in Illustrator

When I type text in CSP with the size set to 9, and then import the file into Illustrator to do final lettering, the 9 pt. type in Illustrator looks a lot bigger than the 9 pt. type in CSP using the same font. Why is that?

Do you possibly have the font height reference setting in Illustrator set to something other than "Em Box"? That changes how large your font appears, even at the same point size.

Ah, found it. In CSP preferences, under “Ruler/Unit”, the text units were set to “Q” (whatever that means), instead of “pt.” After changing the units to points, the problem was resolved.
