I'm new to Clip coming from Photo$LOP and I was wondering if the team is planning to step it up to 16 or 32-bit float? I work in the TV and Film industry and I'm looking for an alternative to PS. 8-bit won't cut it when it comes to Alpha channels, EXR files, and matte painting, with concept art not so much due to banding/stepping in gradients.
Is this something users have been asking for or am I on my own with this?
Cheers

It would be a good idea if they added (at least) 16-bit support. But you should also keep in mind that (historically) this program really started as a program to make black and white/grayscale comics, so I don't think high bit depth has been at the top of the development wishlist.- English
